Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami central working committee member & Dhaka City North unit’s secretary Dr Muhammad Karim said, “The oppressors are now defeated and humiliated. Though the fascist force has been deposed in July-August student-people mass movement, the agents of fallen autocrat are still making plots in the various sectors of the state including administration.” 

He urged everyone to remain united to thwart the plots and conspiracies against the country and the nation of the fallen dictator.   

He today morning made the remarks as the chief guest while addressing a member conference at an auditorium in the capital’s Sher-e-Bangla Nagar. Jamaat Sher-e-Bangla Nagar thana south arranged the member conference. Thana Ameer Abu Sayeed presided over the conference. 

Awami League had embedded a reign of terror through misrule during their last 16 years rule. They snatched away people’s fundamental rights. They had conducted brutal crackdowns on political opponents including Jamaat, even though they banned Jamaat but history did not forgive them. Now people have literally banned Awami League, Rezaul Karim added. 

Awami League fled the country and took shelter in India. But they did not stop making plots against the country, he alleged. 

Our movement has achieved its initial success on August 5 but our fight does not stop. The fight of Islamic movement is long. There is no chance to be inactive here. Out fight will be continued In-Sha-Allah, city secretary further added. 
He urged everyone to be united under the banner of Jamaat. 

Jamaat’s central Mojlish-e-Shura member Hemayet Hossain, Ataur Rahman Sarker, media and publicity secretary of Jamaat Dhaka City North unit, Amibul Islam, working committee member of Moulibibazar district Jamaat, were the special guests. Thana working committee member Sohel member Jamil-bin Hossain, Abu Jawad Maulana Ruhul Ameen among others were present on the conference.
