Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami central executive council member and Dhaka City North unit’s Ameer Mohammad Selim Uddin said “Jamaat has been turned into a pro-people idealist and disciplined political party in the country now. They will lead the country in near future In-Sha-Allah. They aim to establish a discrimination-free Bangladesh, where there will be no place for occupation and extortion.” He today morning made the remarks as the chief guest while distributing winter clothes among the marginalized people in the capital’s Mirpur. Thana Ameer Munirul Islam Mridha was the chair. Thana nayeb-e-Ameer Liakot Ali, secretary Abdul Mannan, finance secretary Shakhawat Hossain, social welfare secretary Ibrahim Hossain among others were present on the event.
We work for the sake of humanity. We are not involved in any type of irregularities, corruptions, extortion. We have taken various programs to make citizens skilled for the sake of the state. For these, we have established many institutions. Jamaat is a unique platform for qualified and honest people, Selim Uddin added.
City Ameer urged everyone to be united under the banner of Jamaat to build a poverty, hunger, discrimination-free Bangladesh.
Jamaat aim to build an Islami welfare state, but other conventional political parties want votes to people but after being elected, they do not serve people. We will fight all constituencies in the next national and local elections, Selim Uddin further added.
He called on everyone to give an opportunity to Jamaat candidates to serve the country and the nation.
