BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and Standing Committee Member Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury and Barrister Zaima Rahman attended the National Prayer Breakfast event in Washington DC, US.Zaima Rahman, granddaughter of BNP founder Ziaur Rahman and former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia, immersed herself in the international arena by attending the traditional event as a representative of her father Tarique Rahman, acting chairman of BNP.Prominent figures from the political, social, diplomatic, business and cultural spheres of different countries have been invited in this event.The event began at 7:00am on February 6 in Washington DC and lasted for 7 hours.This annual event is usually held on the 'First Thursday' of February.
