BNP Standing Committee Member Salahuddin Ahmed said the resignation of Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus is not a demand of his party, but a personal matter of the CA.Salahuddin made the remark in a private TV channel talk show he participated on Friday (May 23).He said if Chief Adviser wanted to resign from his post, that might be his personal matter, but BNP didn’t make any such demand. If Dr. Yunus wants to leave his post without announcing an election roadmap, that's his personal choice—but the state won't stop functioning because of it, the country itself will take alternative measures, said Salahuddin Ahmed. This BNP leader said, "No one is indispensable in this world. However, we hope that he, as a world-renowned figure, will understand the importance of the matter and announce an electoral roadmap to hold national elections by December as per the expectations of the nation."
