Three more deaths were reported from dengue in the last 24 hours (from Monday 8:00am to Tuesday 8:00am), taking the total number of fatalities from the mosquito-borne disease to 51 this year.Of the new deaths, two were reported in Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) and one was in Khulna division (outside the city corporation).During the period, 425 more patients were hospitalised with viral fever, raising the total cases to 13,188 to date this year, the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) said in a statement today (July 8).Of the new cases, highest 120 were reported in Barishal division (outside the city corporation), 98 in Chattogram division (outside the city corporation), 36 in Dhaka division (outside the city corporation), 38 in Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC), and 55 in Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC).

Besides, 18 cases were recorded in Khulna division (outside the city corporation), 11 in Mymensingh division (outside the city corporation), 48 in Rajshahi division (outside the city corporation) and 1 in Sylhet division (outside the city corporation).
