Four people, including three members of a family, were killed as a covered van rammed a CNG-run auto-rickshaw in Gazipur's Kaliakair on Friday afternoon, July 18.The incident occurred on the Mawna-Kaliakair road in Borochala area of Kaliakair.Kaliakair police station's officer-in-charge Abdul Mannan confirmed the matter.Quoting witnesses, police said a covered van hit a CNG-run auto-rickshaw in Borochala area, leaving one named Zahid and his son dead on the spot and two others, including his wife, injured.Later, the injured were taken to Kaliakair upazila health complex where the on-duty doctor declared Zahid's wife dead.They all were residents of Ishwarghat area in Dhunat upazila of Bogura, police said.
