
The bilateral meeting between Chief Adviser Professor Dr Muhammad Yunus and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi began on the sidelines of the Sixth BIMSTEC Summit in Bangkok, Thailand, on Friday.The meeting started at 12:10 pm local time at the Shangri-La Hotel.This is the first meeting between Yunus and Modi since the interim government took office. Earlier on Thursday, the two leaders met at a dinner during the BIMSTEC Summit, where they exchanged pleasantries. The two were seen conversing closely for an extended period during the dinner.
