Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami central executive council member and Dhaka City North unit’s Ameer Mohammad Selim Uddin, central working committee member and Dhaka City North unit’s secretary Dr Muhammad Rezaul Karim expressed deep shock and shock and sorrow at the death of former Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) and former Justice Md Abdur Rouf. In a condolence message, the city leaders said, Abdur Rouf was a guardian of the nation. He worked tirelessly for the sake of the country and the nation. He was a man of great personality. He was a just, prudent and wise judge. He was a widely acceptable person. He held a free, fair and credible election when he had served as a chief election commissioner. He had, moreover, been serving as a head of central Fulkuri Ashor. He, therefor, played a significant role to establish many social-cultural organization in the country. His death is a great loss for our national life. The vacuum which has created due to his demise, will not be fulfilled easily. May Allah bless us to overcome this shortcoming. Ameen. 

They said, May Allah, the Lord of the Worlds, forgive his humanly mistakes and shortcomings. May Allah bestow mercy on him, help him in this new journey with His angels of mercy. May Allah accept his services and bestow complete blessings on him and accept him as a guest of Jannatul Firdaus.

City leaders also prayed for eternal salvation of the departed soul and conveyed sympathy to the bereaved family members.
