Former footballer Tabith Awal has been elected as the new president of the Bangladesh Football Federation, BFF.He, also a former vice president of the BFF, bagged 123 votes to defeat his nearest rival AFM Mizanur Rahman Chowdhury who got just 5 votes.The Election Commission published the results of the polls on Saturday evening which was held from 2:00pm to 6:00pm at InterContinental Dhaka. With the victory of Tabith Awal, the BFF got its new chief after around 16 years. During the long period, Kazi Md Salahuddin was elected president for four consecutive times.
