Residents of Dhaka's Keraniganj are complaining about the vandalism of the temple. Samir Chandra Ghosh, a resident of Dighirpar area, has filed an allegation of vandalism and looting of the family Durga temple based on a trivial incident in Dighirpar area of Shubhadya Union last Wednesday night. On the other hand, Vipul Chandra and his family of the same area have complained that Sameer himself has vandalized their house and temple.Last Saturday morning, it was found that Samir Ghosh and Vipul Chandra have prior enmity regarding land matters. There has been trouble between them several times. Locals are claiming that their previous enmity has gone to the extent of vandalizing the temple.Samir Chandra Ghosh complained that on the day and night of the incident, loud music was being played in the shop on Sohag Majumdar's sound system near the iron bridge in our area. I forbade them to play music and came home. Shortly after this several youths led by Vipul Chandra attacked our house armed with native weapons, hockey sticks and sticks.Meanwhile, they broke the windows of the temple and the living room. When I tried to stop them, my brother Prasenjit attacked Ghosh, which angered Prosenjit. On the other hand, Vipul Chandra Majumdar complained that Samir Ghosh is always addicted to drugs. He also has several drug cases against him. Incidents of temple vandalism and attack are baseless. They have CCTV cameras in their house. If we attack, our picture will be in their camera. They ask to show it. He also said, I have a dispute with Sameer about the land. In order to trap us because of that dispute, he himself has broken the temple of his own house and is making false accusations against us.I want a fair trial of the incident from the honorable Prime Minister. When asked about this matter, Mamunur Rashid, officer-in-charge of Dakshin Keraniganj police station, said that both parties have filed two separate cases in this incident. Two cases are being seriously investigated.
