On the occasion of the 163rd birth anniversary of Rabindranath Tagore in Portugal, the Portugal Literature Society has organized a discussion meeting on the life, philosophy and literature of the world poet. On Sunday, May 12th, the discussion meeting started under the open sky at Lisbon's Alto de la Serafina Park under the chairmanship of Md. Enamul Haque, president of the Portuguese Literary Association and the general secretary of the organization, Abul Hossain Asad, in the presence of all members.Fauzia Khatun Rana, chief advisor of the organization, writer and literary man, discussed literature as the chief guest in the event. Rony Hossain, advisor of the organization, discussed as a special guest. Machum Ahmed, proprietor of Fast Solutions and Khairul Kabir Shimul, organizing secretary of Comilla North Community of Portugal were present as invited guests.Ahmed Liton, Senior Vice President of the organization, Sakir Hasan, Joint General Secretary, Jahangir Alam, Publicity Secretary, Marg Saha discussed the life, philosophy and literature of the poet guru.
In the presence of everyone, Rabindra Sangeet was performed by the organization's co-organizing secretary Naima Bithi, office secretary Mohammad Habibullah and Laila Hasan.Also present on the occasion were Swapneel Nishan, Vice President of the organization, Shaheen, Joint Organizing Secretary, Mohammad Sohag, Literary and Cultural Affairs Secretary, and Runa Akhtar, Women and Women Affairs Secretary.
