A group of students of marketing department of Jagannath University organized an ambush on Md. Nayan Islam and his associate Partha Saha, a student of 16th batch of finance department of the university based on the trivial incident of the mess. In this regard, the aggrieved student submitted a complaint to the proctor.The attack happened on Wednesday (March 27) around 2 pm in the quiet campus of the university. Md. Nayan Islam, the victimized student, said that Munitul Islam of the 18th batch of marketing department misbehaved with the seniors in the mess last night regarding some internal matters of the mess. I tell him to be moderate with seniors. He then told me I will talk like this, what do you do. At one point in the conversation he stormed over to me and threatened to take a look at me.

 

He also said that a team of 25-30 people including Muni (18 batch), Alamin Sajib (16 batch), Anik (17 batch), Jamil (17 batch) called me to a quiet area today at 2 pm in the name of solving the incident of last night. My friend and I ambushed Perth.

 

When the reporter contacted the accused students, they refused to speak.

 

Proctor Professor Jahangir Hossain said in this regard, I have heard the matter. Further appropriate action will be taken subject to investigation.
