
At least four people were killed and 14 others injured when a passenger bus collided head-on with a truck on the Dhaka-Mawa Expressway in the early hours of Saturday (June 28).The crash occurred around 3:20 am near the Hashara Highway Police Station in Srinagar upazila of Munshiganj district, authorities said.Dewan Azad, Station Officer at Srinagar Fire Service, confirmed the matter.He said two passengers died at the scene while two others succumbed to their injuries at hospital. At least 14 others were undergoing treatment at the local Upazila Health Complex, he added.The passenger bus, operated by Hamdan Express, was en route from Jashore to Suhrawardy Udyan in Dhaka, carrying devotees headed to a religious gathering organised by Char Monai Darbar, according to eyewitnesses.
