Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus was presented with the King Charles III Harmony Award at the St James’s Palace in London on Thursday. The prestigious award recognizes his "exceptional contributions to fostering harmony between people, nature, and the environment, driving positive change for marginalised communities, and promoting a peaceful, sustainable world."Expressing gratitude, Professor Yunus remarked, "This is a wonderful honor. I thank His Majesty for supporting Bangladesh during this transformative period in our history." He further noted, "This award acknowledges our efforts to uplift vulnerable communities and reflects values shared by His Majesty The King. It’s a powerful way to showcase what we stand for and will inspire Bangladesh’s youth to build the nation of their dreams."

Established in 1990, The King's Foundation, a UK-based charity founded by then Prince of Wales, bestows the prestigious award annually on individuals with exemplary achievements in sustainable development and humanitarian causes.

Prior to the ceremony, King Charles welcomed Professor Yunus for a private audience at Buckingham Palace.During their 30-minute meeting, they discussed matters of mutual interest.
