Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami central executive council member and Dhaka city North unit's Ameer Mohammed Selim Uddin warned, Awami League is making plots to thwart the acquired victory. He urged the countrymen to continue movement against fascists. The struggle of Abu Sayed, Mughdha and other martyrs is continuing, he added. Selim Uddin today evening made the remarks as the chief guest while addressing a workers' rally at Natunbazar Madani Avenue in the capital's Bhatara. Bhatara thana of Jamaat Dhaka City North unit arranged the rally. Thana Ameer advocate Rezaul Karim presided over the rally while thana secretary Ahammad Salman conducted it. Jamaat central working committee member and Dhaka City North unit's nayeb-e-Ameer Abdur Rahman Musa, and secretary Dr Muhammad Rezaul Karim were the special guests. Awami perpetrators must be brought to justice, city Ameer demanded. He called upon everyone irrespective of parties and opinions to be united to build a fascism-free country. The spirit of student-people mass movement was to build a fascism-free country, he claimed.
Jamaat has been working to make a welfare state. Everyone will enjoy equal rights if Jamaat comes to power. We are working to build a discrimination-free country, Selim Uddin further claimed. Dr Muhammad Rezaul Karim urged all to play a significant role in the field against fascists.
Jamaat's Dhaka city north unit's assistant secretary Nazim Uddin Molla, Hedayet Ullah, Kutub Uddin, Fazle Ahammad, Abdus Sabur Farhad, engineer Abul Bashar, Sirazul Islam, Ahammad Ozayer among others spoke in the rally.
