US Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asia Donald Lu arrived in Dhaka on a two-day visit via India and Sri Lanka. Donald Lu's visit to Dhaka on behalf of the US State Department is going to be the first high-level visit after the 12th National Parliament election on January 7. He arrived at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka on Tuesday (May 14) at around 11:30 a.m. on a Sri Lankan Airlines flight.Meanwhile, Director General (North America Division) Khandaker Masudul Alam of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs welcomed Lu at the airport.
