Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Amir Dr Shafiqur Rahman on Saturday, June 7, said it is possible to hold the next general election according to the roadmap if a level playing field is ensured."It is possible to hold the elections according to the roadmap if there are justice, reforms, July Proclamation, and a level playing field for the vote," he said. Shafiqur made the remarks after offering Eid-ul-Azha prayers at his home village Tulapur Panchgaon Eidgah under Bhatera union in Kulaura upazila of Moulvibazar. Stating that the country's people did not get chance to vote for three consecutive times, he stressed giving chance to new voters this time to exercise voting rights."We will cooperate with Chief Adviser if he wants. However, it is essential to resolve the country's crisis," the Jamaat amir added.
