The massacre in Gaza, Palestine, has reached its peak. The sky and air of Gaza are constantly becoming heavy with the screams and cries of women and children. Gaza, the holy land of Muslims, is being reduced to dust by the barbaric attacks of Jews on Palestine. The hyenas of Israel have turned Gaza into a city of death day after day. They have destroyed the first Qibla of Muslims, the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem. Which is called Baitul Muqaddas, Al-Quds. Many houses and high-rise buildings, schools, colleges, universities have been destroyed. The Jewish terrorist forces of the new Pharaoh Netanyahu of this era have been continuously destroying the Gaza Strip since March 18, violating the ceasefire policy. Gaza, Palestine, has been turned into such a valley of death for a long time. Women, children, the elderly and the helpless are not spared from the hands of the Israeli death monster.
Thousands of innocent children and women in Gaza have been martyred as victims of Israel's barbaric genocide. The children who survive; are on the verge of life and death due to fear of death, indescribable misery, lack of food, water and medical care. The Jews of Israel are so inhumane, cruel and merciless that they do not even allow any humanitarian aid to enter Palestine.
The innocent people of Gaza are suffering from the oppression, genocide and torture of the tyrant ruler of Israel, Netanyahu. Meanwhile, children who have lost their mothers, fathers and families are crying, wailing and saying; We have no food, we have no water, we have no house| . They are saying; Please help me, help me all. How many children have lost their parents and become orphans due to Israel's violence; how many children have lost their siblings and become helpless and speechless. How many children are buried under the rubble; no one knows. There is no such thing as their childhood and adolescence. According to a Nobel Peace Prize laureate, Israel has bombed all the universities in Gaza. It has destroyed more than 90 percent of the schools and colleges. Even women and children who took refuge in school buildings were not spared from the attack. The entire Gaza Strip has now become almost a ruin; where the responsibility is to save the lives of the people of Gaza; Thinking about their child's education is completely unthinkable.
Recently, Al Jazeera published a 'longform story' on March 26 titled "Gaza's Stolen Childhood". It said that Israeli terrorist forces are killing a child in Gaza every 45 minutes. Children and women are their main targets. Because if children are destroyed, the next generation will be empty. So they continue the child killing campaign. In the previous 550 days, they killed about 31 children every day. Accordingly, Israel has killed more than 18,000 children since October 17, 2023. Of which, 16,500 children have been identified, while the rest have not been identified. However, their graves may be lying under the rubble. It is not possible to know whether any of them are still alive.
Thousands of children have been martyred by Israeli bombs, who were just born. Those who were not even seven days, fifteen days or a month old. Those who were not even six months or a year old. They did not even celebrate their first birthday. The Middle East-based media Al Jazeera has highlighted the story of the indescribable murder of a child named Mohammed who was martyred after completing one year. When Israel resumed bombing Gaza on March 18, breaking the ceasefire, 336 Palestinians lost their lives in just 36 hours. Among them, 183 were innocent children. There, 1-year-old Mohammed was martyred with his seven-month pregnant mother. Such a cruel, inhuman and barbaric murder is rare in the history of the world. They did not even spare a seven-month pregnant mother. They were martyred in successive Israeli airstrikes on the designated camp of Al-Mawasi in Gaza. The bodies of countless martyrs have been destroyed by mixing them with the soil.
Such a camp was marked by Israel as a 'safe zone'. Many more Palestinian children, women and innocent civilians have lost their lives. Thus, on October 7, 2023, Israel martyred more than 50,000 people. Where, in addition to one-third of the children, there are women, journalists, security personnel, humanitarian workers, teachers, doctors, social workers, working people, intellectuals, researchers and elderly helpless people. Hospitals and even patients were not spared from the attack.
For more than a year and a half, Israel has been carrying out one brutal massacre after another in Gaza. The sky over Palestine is becoming heavy with the cries of thousands of parents and relatives carrying coffins containing the bodies of small children. No person with even the slightest sense can accept such a horrific massacre. Yet Israel is wiping out an entire generation. So that Muslims cannot stand tall in the future. Now the question arises as to what the world conscience is doing, what the world Muslim community is doing. What is the OIC and the UN and its human rights organizations doing? What is the role of the Arab world? Not only in recent times, but for years, for centuries, Israel has been killing innocent Palestinians. Yet the Western world is observing the situation in complete silence and sighing with satisfaction. After forcibly occupying Palestinian land and committing genocide against those Palestinians, nothing is happening to Israel.
Where is the secret of this? Because the pillar of Israel is America and the Western world. The Western world's media is also defending Israel. Yet they are the ones calling for peace all over the world. Yet innocent, innocent Israeli children are being martyred every day, and even the Muslim world is not moved by it. A few Muslim countries are taking some showy steps, but nothing is working. Yet the Muslim world surrounds Israel. If the Muslim world were united, it would not have been possible for Israel to carry out such aggression and hegemony. We do not know when the leaders of the Arab world, including Saudi Arabia, will wake up from their deep sleep. We constantly see live broadcasts of Israeli barbarity. We do not know when the cries of the mothers who lost their lives in Gaza will reach the ears of the leaders of the Muslim world. Thousands of documents of Israel's crimes against humanity, including the killing of children, are present in the world's media. Human rights and humanitarian organizations are also publishing reports on Israeli killings. Israel has even been sued at the International Court of Justice, but nothing has happened to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
The UN Secretary-General has also been repeatedly condemning. But there is no progress in the work. After March 18, Benjamin Netanyahu seems to have become more drunk and reckless. The Donald Trump administration seems to have given him full license to kill Palestinians. Yet, mass protests against Israel are not decreasing worldwide. Anti-Israel protests are taking place in various cities in the United States itself. Billions of people around the world are protesting in favor of Palestine. The United States is not trying to understand world public opinion. Whenever there is a vote in the UN General Assembly; almost everyone, except 4-5 countries including the United States, votes against Israel. A few countries abstain from voting. But the UN becomes helpless before the veto power of the United States. Other countries with vetoes are also not doing anything effective. We do not know how much longer we will have to endure the cries of helpless Israeli children.
I do not know how much more blood our mothers will shed. They are looking forward to when the miraculous power and help of Allah Almighty will bring them the message of endless peace. No one knows when this oppression of the Jews will end. Allah Almighty declares; “Why do you not fight against the disbelievers for the sake of those women, men and children who cry out because of being oppressed and oppressed and say: O Allah! Take us out of this town of the oppressors and send for us from You a friend and a helper” [Surah An-Nisa: 76].
In this situation, even though the conscience of the whole world is silent, the monotheistic people of Bangladesh do not stop. On Saturday, April 12, people from all walks of life in this country held a huge rally at Suhrawardy Udyan to express solidarity with the oppressed Muslims in Gaza, Palestine, demand an end to the genocide against Israel, and demand that Netanyahu be tried in the International Court of Justice. The entire Bangladesh, including Dhaka, erupted in slogans of Free Palestine, Free Palestine.
Finally, we would like to call on the international community to strongly oppose the genocide committed by Israel in Gaza and ensure that Benjamin Netanyahu is brought to justice in the International Court of Justice.
