BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman has given an Eid gift to the family of Dr. Kabirul Islam Rubel, who was shot by police during the July Revolution.BNP Health Affairs Secretary Dr. Md. Rafiqul Islam paid a courtesy call on the family members of Shaheed Rubel at his residence in Mohammadpur in the capital on Tuesday on behalf of BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman. During the meeting, he presented Eid gifts to the family on behalf of Tarique Rahman.Two doctors were martyred in the July uprising. One of them was Dr. Sajeeb. He was martyred in Uttara, Dhaka on July 18. And Dr. Kabirul Islam Rubel was martyred in Mohammadpur on August 5. He is a former student of Bangladesh Medical College and a senior medical officer of Ispahani Islamia Eye Institute and Hospital.Earlier, on the instructions of BNP Acting Chairman Mr. Tarique Rahman, BNP Health Affairs Secretary Dr. Rafiqul Islam and a team of expert doctors met with the family of martyred Dr. Sajeeb.At this time, Dr. Abdus Shakur Khan, a prominent chest specialist who raised his voice in favor of the movement at the peace rally during the July Movement, was present. 

At this time, they inquired about the martyr's family and promised to provide all possible help for any need they may have in the future.
