'The defeated power has reported false information in the New York Times'

Regarding the report in the New York Times on the rise of Islamists in Bangladesh, BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said, "The defeated power has made the New York Times report with false information. The defeated power is trying to tarnish Bangladesh by using illegal money."He made these remarks at a briefing at the BNP central office in Nayapaltan on Wednesday (April 2) morning. Rizvi alleged that some advisors to the interim government are trying to tarnish the image of the BNP. He said that strict action is being taken against those who are doing immoral things by tarnishing the party's name. The BNP leader said, "The interim government has been formed under the leadership of Dr. Muhammad Yunus on the spirit of democracy. As a result, it is the responsibility of this government to ensure the elements of democracy. One of these is elections. If the roadmap for the elections is not announced, the conspiracy will grow even more."At that time, he also demanded that the necessary reforms be completed very quickly and elections be held. He also said that BNP is never against reforms. The elected government will legalize the agreed reform proposals.
