
Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami cenral executive council member and Dhaka city north unit’s Ameer Mohammad Selim Uddin stated, “Labors have played a significant role in the July-August revolution.” He called on the labor society of the country to build a new happy and prosperous Bangladesh free from discrimination and misrule inspired by the spirit of July revolution. He made the call while speaking an Iftar party as the chief guest organized by Labor Welfare Federation of Dhaka city north unit at a restaurant in the capital yesterday. Maulana Muhibullah, vice-president of the organization, presided over the event while Dhaka city north unit’s secretary HM Atiqur Rahman conducted it.Labors’ rights must be ensured to build a developed and prosperous country. Labors are the key force of the society. Necessary and effective steps must be taken to ensure labors’ security, healthcare and educate for their children, Selim Uddin demanded. Workers should be given a 100% Eid bonus for the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr so that they could share joys with their families, he further added.
City Ameer urged the government and authorities to come forward to stand by labors. If the rules of Allah is prevailed, there will be no crimes and unrests in the country. Manmade law cannot ensure peace and happiness in the state, he claimed. He called upon everyone to be united under the banner of Jamaat.
Lashker Muhammad Taslim, central vice-president of the organization, Mojibur Rahman Buhyan, Dhaka city north unit’s vice-president Mizanul Haque and Gazi Mahbub Alam, Jamaat Gulshan thana Ameer Mahmudur Rahman Azad also spoke in the Iftar party. Hundreds of leaders and activists were present in the Iftar party.
