
Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Ameer Dr Shafiqur Rahman claimed, they have been working for building a new Bangladesh free from corruption and misrule based on Quran and Sunnah. He today evening made these remarks as the chief guest while speaking at an Iftar party in honor of prominent figures in the capital’s Kafrul. Jamaat Kafrul thana north arranged the Iftar mahfil. Thana Ameer Rezaul Karim was the chair while thana secretary Hafez Ashiqur Rahman conducted it. Fasting is a very important act of worship. In Hadith-e-Qudsi, Allah (SW) said, Fasting is only for Me and I (Allah) will reward it Myself. Whoever fasts with faith and hope, Allah will forgive all his previous sins, Jamaat Ameer added. Allah said about the status of the holy month of Ramadan, “Ramaḍân is the month in which the Quran was revealed as a guide for humanity with clear proofs of guidance and the decisive authority. So whoever is present this month, let them fast.” Islam has fundamentally resolved all the problems of human life. It is now clear to all that all the doctrines and ideologies have failed to solve the problems of human being. Islam is not only a religion but also a complete code of life, Shafiqur Rahman further claimed.
He called on everyone to obey the rules of Islam in practical life. Jamaat top leader also urged all to be united to prevail Islam as a complete code of life (deen).
After independence, the country has been ruled sometimes through nationalism, sometimes secularism, and sometimes socialist ideology. The country has been turned into a reign of corruption, bribery, killings , terrorism as it was not governed by the rules of Quran. If we want to build the country free from misrule and corruption, we have to turn the country into an Islamic welfare state, Shafiqur Rahman also added.
Jamaat Ameer urged everyone to be united under the banner of Islam for the peace of this material earth and the salvation from Hellfire.
He called for unity for building a new Bangladesh by the spirit of August revolution.
The month of Ramadan has been given us for self-purification, Abdur Rahman Musa added as the special guest.
He urged everyone to utilize the teachings of Ramadan in all spheres of life.
Jamaat central working committee member and Dhaka city north unit’s nayeb-e-Ameer Abdur Rahman Musa, Bangladesh Labor Welfare central vice-president Lashker Muhammad Taslim were the special guests. Jamaat Dhaka city north unit’s working committee member Shahidullah, Shura member Abdul Matin Khan, Ahasan Habib, thana nayeb-e-Ameer Alauddin among others were present.
