BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said that Awami League chief Sheikh Hasina has made MPs like Shimuls in town after town to bleed BNP leaders by carrying out terrorist activities. He said that the terrorist forces of the MPs of the ruling party have created a terrible anarchic and terrible situation in the country. After the dummy election, the government is running the country on terrorists. Because they have no people with them, they need no popular vote.He said, the outcome of a government based on terror will not be good. He said these things while visiting Natore District BNP Joint Convenor Farhad Ali Dewan Shaheen who is undergoing treatment at BSMMU Super Specialized Hospital on Friday (March 29). BNP organizational secretary Ruhul Quddus Talukdar Dulu and health secretary Dr. Rafiqul Islam was present.BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi also said that Natore MP Shimul's terrorist forces attacked and fired at Farhad Ali Dewan Shaheen with the intention of killing him. He was the former president of Zilla Chhatra Dal and Zilla Juba Dal. He played a very active role in the anti-government movement and struggle. And this is why the leaders of the ruling party are angry with him. But the government will not be saved by killing and oppressing.It is to be noted that on March 13, Natore District BNP Joint Convener Farhad Ali Dewan alias Shaheen (42) was beaten and shot dead by the local Awami League leaders after he was thrown into a microbus. They are followers of MP Shimul. Farhad Ali Dewan came to the session judge's court around 12 noon that day to appear in a political case. After appearing, he left the court on a motorcycle towards Singra.At around 12:30 noon, when he reached in front of the office of the Directorate of Roads and Public Ways (SOAZ) at Phulbagan area on the Natore-Bogra highway, a microbus hit him from behind. When he fell on the side of the road, the terrorists got down from the microbus and beat him with an iron rod and broke his left arm. He was later shot three times in the leg. After receiving the news, two workers of BNP rescued him and first took him to a private hospital in the city.He was immediately taken to Rajshahi with first aid. From there he is being transferred to BSMMU Super Specialized Hospital in Dhaka for better treatment.
