The government of United Arab Emirates (UAE) has pardoned 75 more Bangladeshi expatriates who were detained for participating in demonstrations in support of the July-August student protests in Bangladesh. The release, announced on Friday (Nov 29), brings the total number of pardoned individuals to 188.Sarwar Alam, Private Secretary to the Adviser on Expatriate Welfare, confirmed the matter. Earlier, the UAE government had released 113 expatriates on similar charges.
